Product Overview
The Tigo Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) Outdoor Kit packages Tigo's data logger and communications gateway with a Tigo Access Point (TAP), a DIN-rail power supply and an outdoor enclosure. Tigo's CCA Kit datasheet lists that configuration as 348-00000-52.
Tigo says the CCA powers the monitoring and safety capabilities of Tigo TS4 module-level power electronics (MLPE). CCA Kit options provide the components needed for communicating between inverters, TAPs, TS4s and the Tigo Energy Intelligence platform.
Tigo's CCA datasheet (Rev 1.5) states that, with a TAP, the CCA enables compliance with NEC 2017, 2020, and 2023 690.12 rapid shutdown requirements. Tigo's TAP datasheet lists TAP for use with TS4-A-O, TS4-X-O, TS4-A-S and TS4-X-S.
Best For
- Tigo TS4-O and TS4-S systems that use CCA + TAP: Module-level monitoring through the Tigo cloud platform, per Tigo.
- Mounting the CCA outdoors: The kit includes an outdoor enclosure and a DIN-rail power supply.
- Sites with other Modbus equipment: Tigo says the CCA monitors 3rd-party devices via Modbus.

What You May Also Need
Usually required
- TS4 units on the modules: Tigo's TAP datasheet lists TS4-A-O, TS4-X-O, TS4-A-S and TS4-X-S. Tigo Fire Safety units (TS4-A-F, TS4-A-2F) use a Tigo RSS Transmitter for rapid shutdown instead.
- An RS485 cable from the CCA to the TAP: Tigo says the TAP draws power from the CCA over this cable, which Tigo does not provide. Tigo recommends RS485, 18–22 AWG.
- An internet connection: Wired or wireless, for Tigo cloud monitoring.
May be required
- More TAPs: The kit has one TAP. Tigo's CCA datasheet allows up to 7. See the Tigo Access Point.
- Other gateways: See gateways & communication.
Optional upgrades
- Other monitoring hardware: See monitoring & control.
Check current manufacturer documentation before combining components, especially batteries, inverters, communications equipment and system-control hardware.
Important Considerations
- Not the Fire Safety keep-alive path. Tigo's TS4-A-F and TS4-A-2F datasheets tie their NEC 690.12 compliance to the Tigo RSS Transmitter or an inverter with a built-in Tigo certified transmitter.
- TAP placement. Tigo's TAP datasheet gives a maximum of 10 m (33 ft) from TAP to the closest TS4 and 35 m (115 ft) to the farthest. Add TAPs if the layout exceeds those limits.
- Inverter pairing. Do not assume a specific string inverter, hybrid inverter or microinverter model is listed. Check the maker's current certified list and the document revision or view date before design.
- Licensed work. Install to the NEC edition your AHJ has adopted and the maker's current installation instructions.
