The Tigo TS4-A-F is a module-level rapid shutdown device for one PV module, part of Tigo's Fire Safety line. The TS4-A-F complies with NEC 2017, 2020, and 2023 690.12 Rapid Shutdown specifications when installed with the Tigo RSS Transmitter or an inverter with a built-in Tigo certified transmitter (Tigo TS4-A-F Datasheet 002-00093-00 Rev 3.5).

Important Considerations
- Check the ratings on your unit. Maximum output current, maximum power and system voltage differ between TS4-A-F part numbers in Tigo's datasheets.
- Inverter list. For inverters with a built-in Tigo certified transmitter, check the Tigo UL PVRSS certified inverter list (tigoenergy.com/ul-pvrss), viewed Oct 8, 2026; no revision number.
- Wait 30 seconds. Tigo's RSS IOM says to wait 30 seconds after rapid shutdown activation before disconnecting DC cables.
- Inverter pairing. Do not assume a specific string inverter, hybrid inverter or microinverter model is listed. Check the maker's current certified list and the document revision or view date before design.
