What are system monitors & displays?

This page is for the hardware that lets you see and manage system status — production, consumption, battery SOC, and backup/transfer state — through a local display, energy-management panel, or brand app. It is not where you shop for module-level radios or CT clamps alone.

Envoy vs IQ System Controller vs SimpliPHI EnergyTrak

  • Enphase IQ Envoy — the primary IQ microinverter gateway and system monitor. It gathers production (and consumption, when CTs are installed) and reports to Enlighten. Shop Envoy under Gateways & Communication as well; it also appears here because it is the day-to-day monitoring hub for IQ PV.
  • Enphase IQ System Controller (and Power Kits that include one) — storage / backup / transfer equipment for Ensemble-style systems. It is a controller for backup and loads, not a substitute for the Envoy gateway. Pair System Controller products with the correct Envoy (and CTs when you need consumption metering).
  • Briggs & Stratton SimpliPHI EnergyTrak — energy-management / control for SimpliPHI lithium battery systems. Choose EnergyTrak when your bill of materials is SimpliPHI-centric, not Enphase IQ.

FAQ

Is an IQ System Controller the same as an IQ Envoy?

No. The Envoy is the IQ monitoring / communications gateway. The System Controller manages backup, transfer, and storage-side control for Ensemble designs. Most Enphase storage builds need both, per Enphase documentation.

Where do I buy the CT-200 consumption CTs?

Enphase CT-200 split CTs live under Sensors & Sending Units. They work with a compatible Envoy for consumption monitoring — they are not a standalone system display.
