What is included in a bundle, and what is not?

Equipment bundle

Major components with exact models and quantities. The bundle price is the sum of the component prices in the altE store, and each component goes into your cart as its own line. Freight and tax are not in the price; freight is determined at checkout.

Not included in any bundle

Wiring, protection, mounting and parallel-battery connection equipment, plus your installation design, permits and inspection. Every bundle is an equipment bundle, not a complete installation package. Each detail page lists these required parts separately.

About the equipment: Solar + inverter bundles have no battery and are for customers who already own a suitable battery bank. No bundle promises utility export, battery-free operation, a guaranteed runtime or whole-home coverage. Each bundle page states installation limits such as indoor-only equipment.

How we label information: Confirmed in bundle is the bundle definition. Manufacturer-published or manufacturer-documented comes from the maker’s own documents, linked on each bundle page. Open means a detail is still to be specified for your site.

Ratings are the manufacturers’ published figures: inverter output in kW AC, solar capacity in kW DC at standard test conditions, and usable battery energy in kWh measured inside the battery. A battery is not always able to supply the inverter’s full output.
