Which IQ Combiner fits your system

Enphase IQ Combiner 5 with Hold-Down Kit (X-IQ-AM1-240-5-HDK). An 80 A combiner for 120/240 V or 120/208 V systems with up to four 2-pole PV branch breakers (breakers sold separately) and a factory-installed hold-down kit. Its built-in control board provides wired communication with IQ Battery 5P and IQ System Controller 3/3G. A cellular modem is optional.

Enphase IQ Combiner 6C (X-IQ-AM1-240-6C). For 240 V split-phase systems with IQ Battery 10C. It takes up to five PV branches plus spaces for two battery breakers and one EV charger breaker, and adds an integrated load controller and an included cellular modem.

Enphase IQ Combiner 6C with 3 pre-installed breakers (X-IQ-AM1-240-6C-3BRK). The same IQ Combiner 6C platform shipped with two PV breakers and one battery breaker already installed, which saves field time on a typical microinverter plus IQ Battery layout.

Are branch breakers included with an IQ Combiner?

The IQ Combiner 5 HDK does not include branch breakers; use the Enphase-listed 2-pole breaker families shown on its product page. If you want breakers already installed, the IQ Combiner 6C 3BRK version ships with two PV breakers and one battery breaker in place.

Can the IQ Combiner 6C help with rapid shutdown?

Per Enphase, the aggregate PV breaker in the IQ Combiner 6C can serve as the rapid shutdown initiator when the combiner is installed outdoors and is readily accessible. Your local inspector decides which rapid shutdown method is accepted.
