The IronRidge QuickMount JayBox (QM-JBX-RL02-B1) is a photovoltaic junction box that mounts to the racking rail. IronRidge's Parts Catalog lists it as "JayBox Junction Box, Rail Mount" and notes: "Use Microinverter Hardware to attach to rails. Sold separately."
IronRidge molds the JayBox from SABIC NORYL resin. Its hinged lid stays open on roof slopes up to 70°, per IronRidge. Because the enclosure is nonconductive, IronRidge says there is no need to ground the box or its lid.

- Rail-mounted PV junction boxes: Transitioning array wiring at the rail, attached with IronRidge MLPE hardware.

Important Considerations
- Grounding. The box itself needs no grounding, per IronRidge. Equipment grounding conductors still land on the ground bar as the NEC requires.
- Wire. IronRidge's manual calls for #12–#8 AWG, min 90°C copper wire as required by the NEC, and #10–#6 AWG equipment grounding conductors.
- Licensed work. Install to the NEC edition your AHJ has adopted and the maker's current installation instructions.
