Product Overview
The IronRidge EFO, or End Fastening Object (UFO-END-01-A1), is a one-piece end clamp that secures the outer edge of the first and last module on IronRidge XR rails. This listing is the mill finish.
IronRidge designed EFO to replace the older method of snapping a Stopper Sleeve onto a UFO mid clamp to make an end clamp. IronRidge says EFO needs no on-site assembly.
IronRidge lists EFO for module frame heights of 30 to 40 mm. A bonding pin under the clamp head keeps it flush to the module as it is tightened, per IronRidge.

Check current manufacturer documentation before combining components, especially batteries, inverters, communications equipment and system-control hardware.
Important Considerations
- Frame height. EFO is listed for 30 to 40 mm frames. The UFO mid clamp covers 30 to 46 mm, so check end-clamp fit for taller frames.
- Hold it while tightening. IronRidge says to hold end clamps while torquing to prevent rotation and kicking out, and to make sure EFO stays hooked over the module.
- Rail ends. IronRidge's manual says modules should be a minimum of 1" from the rail ends.
- Check your module. IronRidge's XR Flush Mount manual lists the framed modules tested or evaluated with the system, by maker and frame height. Confirm yours is listed.
