The Enphase IQ Combiner 5 with factory-installed hold-down kit (X-IQ-AM1-240-5-HDK) consolidates interconnection equipment into one outdoor enclosure and includes an IQ Gateway PCB for production, consumption, and IQ Battery metering.

It supports up to four 2-pole branch circuits for IQ Series Microinverters and is listed for use with IQ System Controller 3/3G and IQ Battery 5P on the Americas datasheet. Wired CTRL communication is built in.

Important Considerations

  • Americas datasheet Compatibility table lists IQ6, IQ7, and IQ8 Series Microinverters; IQ System Controller 3/3G (SC200D111C240US01 / SC200G111C240US01); and IQ Battery 5P. IQ Battery 3/10/3T/10T and IQ System Controller 1/2 (formerly Encharge/Enpower) use COMMS-KIT-01 per the datasheet footnotes — confirm the matrix for your battery generation.
  • The IQ Combiner 5/5C quick install guide (version 12.0, April 2026) states it is not compatible with M Series Microinverters, and requires COMMS-KIT-01 for IQ Battery 3/10/3T/10T and IQ System Controller 1 or 2.
  • Do not treat this SKU as IQ Combiner 5C: the 5C variants include Enphase Mobile Connect; X-IQ-AM1-240-5-HDK does not list a factory cellular modem.
  • Professional installation required. Follow Enphase instructions and the NEC.
