Product Overview

The IronRidge BOSS® (XR100-BOSS-01-M1) is a bonded structural splice for joining two lengths of IronRidge XR100 rail end-to-end. It slides into the rail cavity as a single piece — no tools, bolts, or separate bonding straps for the splice itself.

Built-in bonding spring teeth bite the rail interior to create an electrical bond that meets UL 2703 bonding requirements within listed IronRidge systems. Place the splice anywhere along a span except the outside cantilever. For thermal expansion joints, leave about a 1″ gap between rail ends (per IronRidge guidance) instead of adding a separate bonding jumper across the gap.
