What You May Also Need

Usually required

  • Roof screws and sealing materials per the structural engineer and roofing manufacturer.
  • L-Foot or Fixed Tilt Leg hardware for the rail plane; XR Rails per design.

May be required

  • IronRidge Fixed Tilt Leg Kit (10", 15", 20" or 30" north leg) when the array is tilted.
  • Matching FRA membrane SKU for the roof membrane brand (order separately).

Optional upgrades

Check current IronRidge documentation and the stamped design for the site before combining racking components.

Important Considerations

  • Span and load capacity depend on rail size, tilt angle, snow and wind loads. Use IronRidge Design Assistant or PE-stamped certification letters for your site.
  • If using a membrane flashing, remove the silicone washer liner before welding or adhering; ensure membrane compatibility with the existing roof.
  • Professional installation required. Follow IronRidge instructions, the roofing manufacturer, and the applicable building code.
