The APsmart RSD System are SunSpec Alliance Certified [paired] devices which maintain constant communication between the RSD and Transmitter-PLC, constantly monitoring voltage and current. When proper voltage is not detected the Transmitter stops sending the keep-alive signal to the RSD device, initiating module-level rapid shutdown sequence.
-
- Meets NEC 2017 & 2020(690.12) requirements
- Meets SunSpec requirements
-
- RSD ASIC Chip designed using APsystems’ IP with redundancy topology
- Highly integrated SoC
- Fewer electrical components on PCB
-
Small and light, adhesive- or rack-mounting optional
-
- Longer daily module operating period (15 ~ 30 minutes) due to its low minimum operation voltage (8v)
- Low power consumption
-
- Eliminates Unwanted AFCI Nuisance Tripping
- RSD-S-PLC Noise Spectrum Density is far away (isolated) from AFCI noise
