I like this inverter. It has very good protections, I had put in laboratory and test all it
s protection systems. Continues to work well.
Efficiency is good, over 90% in a great range, with peaks around 93% to 95%. That
s very good for a pure sine inverter with this price. For a 1500W inverter, 48V, I recommend this.
I have turned on a 1 ton AC system with this inverter, without problems.
Power saving is a good feature, specially when you have renewable energy systems.
The only thing I don
t like are the GFCI receptacles. I prefer the hardwire AC ones, because GFCI are inadecuate for permanent wiring.

I am using this 1500W 48V to power a window AC unit. The "pure sine wave" output does indeed provide a much quieter motor sound vs. a square wave type inverter. Also a squarewave type inverter would not power my window unit if the AC was energized with the compressor going as well. I would always have to start just the blower motor fan, then twist the thermostat and engage the compressor. Meaning I had to babysit my inverter while running my AC unit. I was using a 2000 watt Tripplite, but this inverter has replaced it and I no longer have to be in the room to babysit. :-)

The low voltage cut out is set rather low on this unit and the LED type voltage meter is not an accurate way to judge battery levels. The user should not rely on this feature to preserve battery life. Another method of monitoring battery voltage during discharge is suggested.

A very good value for the amount of power. I will be purchasing more of these units in the future.
