Though this may be a uselful product, it should not be necessary to buy a "remote" control to program the inverter. I am very disappointed with Outback that no changes or monitoring of the inverter can be done without this additional expense. It is like selling a TV with no controls built in and then not including the remote, you could only watch the channel that it was preprogrammed for and only at the preset volume.
