Battery Monitor

The Bogart TriMetric TM 2030A-F is intended to help maintain battery systems for nominal 12V to 48V systems, such as those found in RVs or off grid homes - battery systems which are regularly charged and discharged and use deep cycle batteries. The TM 2030 display provides the user with a wealth of information! The amps or watts display measures the rate of energy going in or out of your batteries so you can check your charging systems, and also to see how much energy each of your appliances use to help you conserve energy. The “% Full” display will help you keep track of how charged or discharged your batteries are. The “volts” display will let you discover if your charger systems are charging to the proper voltage, neither too high or too low, which is important for maximizing your battery life; also when battery voltage gets too low you will know your battery is getting really close to being discharged. The “days since charged” display shows how recently the main battery (system) was fully charged, so if it hasn’t been charged recently you can perform extra charging if necessary to help maintain the capacity of your batteries. The TM-2030 also can measure voltage only of a second battery set, such as the motor starting battery, or solar voltage input to an MPPT charge controller.

The recommended fuse holder and 1 Amp fuse are now included.** You will need to purchase a shunt separately. 100 or 500 amp shunts are used most often.

The TM 2030A-F battery monitor is designed for flush mount installations, or to fit into a standard "double-gang" electrical box mounted 90 degrees from the usual position (electrical box not included). MONITORS:

Energy going in, or out of your batteries, measured in amps or watts, so you can see that your charging sources are charging properly, or how much current your loads are using.

Percent Full display (State of charge) of your batteries, so you can see if you need to charge them more, or check that overall usage is less than your charging resources.

The 'voltage only' of a second battery set, such as a starting battery, or possibly also the input voltage of a solar array (if less than 100 volts.)

New display shows while charging: how much of the most recent battery discharge (in percent) has been replaced. In working with the SC-2030 charger, it can be adjusted to a particular value of overcharge percent before going into float - to help avoid undercharge or overcharge.
