S-5! SolarFoot mounting platform for attaching L-Foot on rail mounts

Product Overview

The S-5! SolarFoot™ is a low-profile pedestal that accepts a standard racking L-foot (sold separately) so you can mount rail-based solar on exposed-fastened trapezoidal metal roofs (AG-panel, R-Panel, and similar). It straddles minor panel striations and attaches through the roof into deck or structure for published holding strength.

An integrated stainless M8 stud and hex-flange lock nut secure the L-foot. Factory-applied butyl co-polymer sealant in a reservoir provides a weathertight pad without field-applied sealant at the foot.

Compatibility / Important Considerations

• Critical: To achieve published holding strength, SolarFoot must attach through the roof into deck or structure — not into sheeting alone.
• L-foot and rail hardware are sold separately; confirm L-foot slot fits the M8 stud.
• Select fasteners for the substrate per S-5! guidance. Do not use field sealant under the pad — the factory butyl is the designed seal.
