Southwest Air Breeze Wind Turbine 12v

I bought one of the southwest 12v wind turbines in 1988 for my off-grid solar cabin in the Sierra foothills where it produced reliable and trouble-free power for years before I upgraded to a larger 48v system. It worked extremely well for my site and application because it supplemented my solar in the spring, fall and winter when the solar system needed support. At my particular site it powered primarily at night which turned out to be another bonus. It was fairly easy to assemble (2 hours) and install (8-9 hours). I needed a fair amount of cabling to get it hooked up to my battery bank (120). But because it is self-regulating, in other words; powers down when batteries are full it required little or no maintenance once installed. I gave it to my neighbor when I went 48v and it is still producing trouble-free power.
