Hudson, Massachusetts based AltE, formerly The Alternative Energy Store has launched a new homepage geared towards helping users more effectively navigate the website. With a fresh graphic look and a clear customer path, customers looking for renewable energy technology and DIY solutions should be better served into the future.
"As we expand the site and our content, it becomes more and more complicated for users to navigate - and for us to organize!" explained Blair Stephens, Marketing Manager for AltE. "We decided we needed to move forward with a true customer path - and to that end we're developing sections around our core concepts: Learn, Design, Build and Share. Our hope is that by helping people identify where they are in their renewable energy path, they'll be able to access what they need more quickly and have a more positive experience with AltE."
AltE has already made a significant investment in developing free content to help people learn about energy efficiency and renewable energy technology - which will be highlighted in the "Learn" area of the site. The Design section will feature calculators and tools for choosing the right technology and components for an individual system. "Build" will feature actual DIY tips from industry leaders and experts from AltE. "Share" leads customers to the active AltE user community where customers share their stories, experiences and enthusiasm with eachother!
