I purchased this system for my son who is enrolled in the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), based in Lander, WY. He left in October 2006 for their most rigorous 6 month Patagonia experience. He was in the mountainous back country for months on end, living in tents, climbing, hiking and sea kayaking and completely removed from civilization. This panel system was an experiment. He said everyone was amazed, as even on rainy days (frequent in Patagonia) he could recharge his digital camera batteries AS FAST AS ON AN AC CHARGER! This, coupled with 2 and 4 gb memory cards allowed him to take hundreds of images and movies, and fully document this exceptional life experience.
