The Smart Harvest SRTS-6M is a remote temperature sensor used to get an accurate indication of the battery temperature to improve battery charging. When used with the SmartHarvest charge controllers, it adjusts battery charging thresholds to prolong battery life and reduce service cycles. In higher ambient temperatures, battery charging regulation settings will be automatically reduced to prevent overcharging of the batteries.

*NOTE: When connecting 12V batteries, the RTS can be connected to any terminal of the battery bank. When connecting two 12V batteries in series, the RTS must be connected to any of the immediate terminals instead of the + or - terminals of the battery bank.
