allow solar panel on moblie home?

I also have a mobile home.  Call it that, but it's hardly "mobile" at this point.  I wish now that I'd had a basement done, since mobile homes typically don't have a lot of storage room for things like water softeners, central vacuums, and big batteries for alternative energy.  You can certainly do solar, so long as you follow applicable code.  Depending on the design of your home, there might not be a whole lot of attic for messing around with wiring.  You might need to do the wiring in a way that is okay for extended outdoor exposure (NEMA 4 or NEMA 6x I think) and keep most everything outside.  Are you planning to do grid-tied, or off-grid?
