I have been running this unit continuously for three years with absolutely no problems. My installation has a 55 ft. head, running through 600 feet of 3 inch PVC. The maximum power from this configuration is 430 watts, or about 10 kWh per day. I live in the tropics and can even run a small window air conditioner to dehumidify my 1000 sq. ft. home with the excess power! The owner of the company (ES&D) was very helpful in quickly getting me up and running again after a nearby lightning strike damaged the rectifier.
