Phocos CL1215C 12V, 15 W Cool, CFL LampWrite a review

Great light. Have not used them long enough to comment on how long they last. But the bulb puts out a very nice light.

I've tried both Alternative Energy Store alternatives for CFL lamps, first Steca and then Phocos, both of German descent. And my favorites are the Phocos 5W Warm and the Phocos 15W Cool.

The 5W Warm is a great ambiance light, subtle and gentle (and little consumption).

The 15W Cool is a great reading lamp, an investment on my eyes.

In general, 12 volt low-consumption CFL lamps with standard sockets is the way to go.

I searched everywhere for replacement bulbs for giant flood "flashlights" we have and this is the only place I could find them. They don't get frequent or prolonged use, so I don't know about their lifespan yet, but so far, so good!
