AltE U Classes

At AltE we are passionate about renewable energy. Our AltE U classes are one way we share this passion with folks and encourage the widespread use and safe installation of renewable energy systems in your personal and professional lives. Each year we offer a range of workshops that are aimed at helping the homeowner become an informed consumer; the do-it-yourself-er proudly install their own system; and the professional work toward certification. We are pleased to announce that as of May 15, 2009, our 300 level courses are ISP accredited. AltE U is one of thirteen organizations in the country who meet these high quality standards. Our 300 level training classes count toward NABCEP educational requirements. We are also an approved provider of the NABCEP Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge Exam. Important information regarding our cancellation policy:

Full refund if you if cancel 5 or more days before the commencement of the course. Full refund minus administrative* fees will be charged if you cancel 4 days and up to commencement of the course. Further cancellations use the following cancellation schedule:

• 1st quarter of the course: 75% refund minus administrative fees
• 2nd quarter: 50% refund minus administrative fees
• 3rd quarter: 25% refund minus administrative fees
• 4th quarter: no refund

If you wish to cancel and receive a refund, a cancellation letter or email must be written and receipt confirmed. The cancellation will be effective the date the letter or email is sent.

*Administrative costs will not exceed $50 or 5% of the course cost, whichever is less. Please inform us in writing of your cancellation by using our online email form.
