What type of glass..

need advice on what should I use to make my own solar panel for my pool. Is plexiglass good or what type of tempered glass is the best. Any and all advice is welcomed. Thanks to all...

Regular single pane window glass will probably give you the best light/heat tranmission. But it is not as stong as tempered glass, can splinter when it breaks, etc.
Plexiglass will work for a while. It will not be as effecient as regular glass and it will "fog over" over time, reducing its effeciency.
You really need to tell us more about the installation and what conditions it will be exposed to: kids paying near it, hail, snow build up, falling tree branches, roof mount or ground rack mount, are just some of the items that could change the plain glass recommendation.

Mario, most hot water panels use Low E glass for it low emmissivity. The thickness of the glazing is what drives it's durability. A minimum of 3/16" may be sufficient if not exposed to harm's way, 5/16" otherwise or slightly thicker depending on what is available or in stock in at your local glass guy.
