Looking for some advice on my camper setup
Hello Experts, I've tried to do my research on a solar setup for my 5x10 cargo trailer conversion camper but have come up with much conflicting information, and some more general questions. I was hoping someone may be able to give me some advice.
I am building a small camper with a fantastic fan (12v, draws 3 amps at high speed), LED lighting, 12 volt water pump, 12v car stereo, and forced propane heater w 12v fan (1.7amp max current).
I have purchased a 135w kyocera panel (isc 8.37), a morningstar tristar 45am charge controller, and 2 trojan T105 batteries to be wired in series.
My questions are specifically about fusing. I would like to use in line stereo breakers, 30amp fuse from panel to controller, 60 amp from controller to battery. However these breakers only accept up to 3 gauge wire, and I was planning on using 2G from the controller to my battery, with a very short run. Any suggestions on the type of fuse I should use? Overall does this system look feasible for my needs? I will only be in the camper for several days at a time, sometimes with shore power.
I also have a 1000w inverter that I'm planning on using a 110amp inverter fuse between the battery....
thanks for any suggestions!
