USING BZ240 IS IT OK

Im using an 130W solar panel for lighting and BZ240 as
achrger .It is clear from the circit of BZ240 that it is use a FET(IRFZ44)to short the terminal of the soler
panel when the batry is fully chrged .but the solar panel
have awarnning lable not to short the terminal .so is it safe to use the bz240 or Im ronge some where
