In order to determine the number of charge controllers required for my system, I need to divide the Max Watts the CC must pass from the array by the Charge Controller rating at the Nominal Battery voltage:
No. CC's req'd = MAX array watts / CC Watt Rating (at nom batt voltage)
The problem I find is that not all charge controllers list what their maximum CC Watt rating is. For instance, the Outback MX-60 spec sheet lists the max rating for 12V, 24V,48v system voltages as 800W, 1600W, 3200W.

Unfortunately, MANY charge controllers merely list maximum output (or load) current and acceptable system voltages. How can we tell from this information what the maximum CC Watt rating is?

Now, the table on the following web page lists the max input power as 350 Watts - HOW DID THEY COME UP WITH THIS NUMBER??
