We had an XW4548 Inverter/Charger for a year and then its ability to interface with our backup generator failed. Talked with customer service and they got a new unit (not a refurbished unit) sent out promptly. Down time without electricity was only two nights.

Good job Xantrex (Schneider Electric)! It turns out that the issue of handling swap-outs is one that I did not even consider when initially purchasing.

If they failed to honor their warranty, or gave me hassles on the swap-out, it could have caused big hassles and expenses for our home-based business. If you are like us, you cannot pull several thousand out of the air easily and customer service in this area is really a huge consideration.
