Primus’ AIR Silent X is a small wind turbine specifically designed for the boating and sailing market as an onboard marine battery charger. As sailboats, yachts, and other marine vehicles host more electrical devices than ever, an onboard battery (or “house” battery) that can quietly run these devices instead of an alternator or generator needs a reliable charging source to provide safety and comfort for a day at sea. This makes a wind power generator like the AIR Silent X an ideal battery charger for boats.

With the same power and reliability of the AIR X, the AIR Silent X offers much quieter operation. This small wind turbine’s quiet, lightweight carbon fiber blue blades generate an impressive 90 amp-hours per day in 12mph winds, and up to 400 Watts at higher wind speeds. Up-tower controls inside the turbine allow for easy installation with no additional space needed for a down-tower controller.
