Simple design that works great in large temperature swings. I have it mounted in an uninsulated garage. Has worked flawlessly in -10deg thru the 90deg plus temperatures. Easy to install. A true set it and forget it charge controller.

We are a wireless internet service provider in the White Mountains of NH. A number of our access points are remote and solar powered with battery storage. We've found that the ASC PWM controllers work well in adverse weather conditions and extremes of temperature. The most important feature is that they are slow switching and therefore don't cause radio interference in our 5Ghz, 2.4Ghz and 900Mhz bands. The low voltage load disconnect feature is also important as these sites are rarely visited and the last thing you want is for the battery bank (sealed AGMs in most cases) to get drained down to the point of no return.

I would highly recommend this line of controllers for any similar application.
