This 1440 Watt Tiny House Kit includes 4 solar panels (the image to the right is just a representative image of a solar-powered tiny home using 3 panels). And as we've said - the next best thing to having a Tiny House - is to have a solar powered Tiny House! altE has designed 3 Solar Power System Base Kits - Small, Medium, and Large - depending on the size and power needs of your tiny home.

So where should you begin?

We're sure if you have a Tiny House, you're already energy conscious, and have been conserving where you can - great, that's the first step!

Now you'll need to figure out how much power you'll need for your tiny home. Our Off Grid System Calculator will help you narrow that down.

After that, look at the map below to find where you live. We have calculated out how much power you'll get on average on a monthly basis. Again, we have 3 kits to choose from, so if this is too small, check out our larger kit for Tiny Homes.

Then, what type of energy storage is best for your needs? Is low/no maintenance important to you? Lowest cost? Longest cycle life? See the Battery Option chart below to help you decide.

Lastly, how will you mount your Solar Power System for your Tiny Home? If the solar panels fit on your roof, we have a Metal Roof Option, and a Shingle Roof Option. Or, if your Tiny House is more permanent, than temporary, and you have land you can utilize, a Pole Mount Option may be better for you. (Plus, a bonus for mounting on the ground, is that you'll get better air flow, less heat, and more efficency from your panels - and you can put your house in the shade!)
