Grounding Strap Expansion Joint
RS-GDXP-001
The IronRidge Grounding Strap Expansion Joint is to be used with IronRidge Integrated Gounding T-bolt Midclamps, when splices are needed. This is a single grounding strap with hardware. The Expansion Joint is used for rows exceeding 50 feet of rail. Expansion joints prevent the potential buckling of rails due to thermal expansion. At the installer’s discretion, a Rail to Rail Expansion Joint may also be used at lengths of less than 50 feet of rail.
