Bonded Rail Connectors
For Ground Mount Arrays
IronRidge Ground Array components are engineered to combine locally sourced 2" or 3" schedule 40 pipe. Used in conjunction with the IronRidge Standard Rail (XR) module mounting assembly, it provides an intuitive, adaptable, cost effective solution.
The new bonded Rail Connectors now come with bonding hardware. They secure IronRidge Standard Rails to the schedule 40 horizontal cross pipes (see lower image). Each Standard Rail requires two connectors to create a secure attachment. IronRidge Rail Connectors are available for both 2" and 3" pipe sizes, and are manufactured using extruded 6105-T5 aluminum.
- Intuitive construction
- Connects to IronRidge Standard Rail system (XR)
- Fits installer-supplied 2" or 3" pipe
- Modular design to decrease installation time
Here are some tips from the altE staff
- True solar south and magnetic south vary depending on where you are on the globe. Be sure to orient your solar panel mounts as close to solar south as possible.
