• There is a patented bushing that provides complete protection against water intrusion. The exterior of the bushing compresses within the L Foot while it's interior wraps tightly around the lag bolt. This dual seal is both watertight and shielded from the elements.
• The seal is complimented by an extra wide 12" x 12" flashing with an elevated sealing layer to maximize water shedding efficiency.
• Below the flashing layer, a load distribution plate reinforces the connection between the lag bolt and the rafter to increase structural strength. As a result, the FlashFoot achieves dramatically higher shear and uplift performance compared to competing products.
• Flashfoot was designed for easy and rapid installation. Simply line up the pilot hole using the center guide on the flashing, and slide it in between the shingles. Then insert the lag bolt through the washer, L Foot, and flashing, and tighten. It's that easy! The Flashfoot is now installed and ready for IronRidge XR rails to be dropped in.
