I had been having trouble with my water lines putting too much pressure on the pump housing (which is relatively soft plastic). I even had part of the housing break due to the strain. Then, I found these babies! The nylon swivel is fantastic. Not only does the device relieve strain on the pump housing, but it allows you to position the water lines almost anywhere, relative to the pump. Furthermore, the whole thing can be put together with just your fingers. No wrenches necessary. Shurflo recommends against using any metal connectors on their pump housings as they could strip the plastic threads. This adapter solves that problem and many more. Highly recommended.
