A NEW Solar + Storage Solution - have less dependence on the grid! Sol-Ark Pre-Wired Inverter Systems simultaneously manage power to/from Solar, Battery, Grid, Loads, and Generator.  The Sol-Ark is simple to install and can be used in Grid-tied, Off-Grid, or Battery Backup solar applications.  It is expandable, and can grow as your power needs grow.  On grid PV to AC efficiency is 96% - among the top in the industry - means less solar is needed.

  • EMP applications (**offered with 8K and 12K EMP Hardened Inverters only- includes EMP suppressors for appliances and solar panels.  Not available on the 5K.)  Also, lithium battery technology is NOT recommended, but lead-acid batteries are fine.  The electronics in the lithium BMS cannot be guaranteed to survive EMP, whereas lead-acid is chemical, thus will survive.

*NOTE:  For Net Metering applications, if you have a 200A or greater service, you will need to buy a 200A Current Transformer separately (item code SOLARK200ACT).  The inverters come with 100A CTs that are appropriate for 2/0 wire.  The 200A CTs support 4/0 wire.

*IMPORTANT NOTE:  SOL-ARK 12K is a combined output - (split between DC Battery and AC Loads/Grid).  The max power to the grid or AC loads is 9kW - in conjunction with simultaneously charging the batteries.  So for example - if 9kW is going to the grid, an additional 3kW of power can be used to charge the batteries.


  • 12K Max PV input wattage is 13.000W (6.5kW per MPPT)
  • 12K units primary design is for grid tie, as well as standalone offgrid applications
  • Damage will occur if the PV temperature compensated Voc (for coldest expected temperature) is over 550V
  • PV production stops if voltage exceeds 500V (500 Voc Max)
  • Each string of panels in parallel on a given MPPT must be the same voltage.  Each MPPT, however, can have a different voltage (number of panels in series).
