Just heard today!
I was introduced to these systems today! I was told about them at lunch and they seem to just make sense! I searched the web to find manufacturers and I stumbled upon this site! lots of great info here and the video was most informative without being loaded with technical specifications and the like! It was simply a great general overview!
A coworker (the guy who introduced me to these systems) had one of these installed in the early 80s and this is what he said:
1) his wife has to open windows on sunny days!
2) the gas company has changed his meter a couple of times! Not just once, but several times because he was using considerably less gas than his neighbors with similar homes!
3) the only maintenance has been the replacement of the blower motor! And obviously cleaning as required!
We live in upstate NY.
