Portable emergancy power
During Hurricane IKEs travels up the Mississippi River in 2008, the area around our house was without power for 7 days. During this time, I had 1 Xantrex 300 portable battery and 2 30W P3-30. Using a custom made Y-cable; I was able to power the needs of my laptop, cell phones and internet during the day as I attempted to get additional help for items such as the freezer. Overall, I appreciate the compactness of this product. This makes deploying and storage an easy task. I have since made a collapsible ½” PVC frame to pair them up. Better to have than to wish.
