A decent collector
I purchased two of Your Solar Home 1500GS collectors for my solar air system at home. The collectors were flush mounted to my roof. As long as there was good direct sunlight (no cloud), the collectors heated up pretty fast, within 15-20 minutes, with outside temperature around 40 in MI. It took longer if its windy. The collectors also works in partly cloudy weather but not well because there was just not enough sunlight.
It will be interesting to see how long it takes for the collectors to heat up when the outside temperature is 20F.
