i bought this meter earlier this year and have had trouble with it ever since. it has been sent back to WES-POWER for repair once, and it even has had a software update, the problem is still not resolved. WES-POWER says they are working on the problem . well its been months and no resolution to the problem. the problems are.. bugs in the software and that the sensors are getting interfearence from each other, this is causing inaccurate reading, which makes this unit totally useless to me. i am trying to get WES-POWER to take this unit back since they dragged their feet on resolving this problem. therefore i cannot get a refund from altenergy because its past their return warranty timeframe, if i knew this meter was gonna be such a problem, i'd have never bought it. main reason i was attracted to it.was because of its all in one design.
( no external shunts ) well the sensors are located inside the unit, and they are not shielded from each other, and the strey magnetics from heavy current are causing the other sensors to give false reading.
avoid this unit at all cost..
