Outback PS1-2500 Grid-tie Solar w/Battery BU

Plug and Play Solar

I spent almost an hour reviewing the settings as I couldn't believe that there was NOTHING that had to be changed for it to work straight out of the box!

In the last two weeks this has been given a thorough work out and it has come through with flying colours every time.

I connected a 3-ton AC unit via the X-240 transformer and sure enough it tripped out as soon as I turned the AC on. That was a case of "seeing is believing" for the benefit of my wife. I also let the batteries run down overnight and it tripped out on low battery, but the next morning after a few hours of sunshine it came back online without any manual intervention.

Although not mentioned anywhere in the literature, it also comes with a 500 amp 50mV shunt installed.

This item should also be listed under your Power Panels section as I only became aware of it after going to the Outback website for further research on one of the other panels listed there.
