I have installed the IPV-80-64 and found its power exceptional for capturing BTU's. I have flicked the breaker on my internal electric heating element and have been 100% solar hot water without any cold showers. And I like my showers long. Granted, its just my wife and I, but we have regular hot water loads with both dish and clothes washer, and 2 long showers a day. Colorado also has very good sun, and I'm sure I'll have to use the backup element sometime, but havn't seen that day yet.
