AET D-80-40
Ontime delivery, well packed, nothing broken or missing (except vacuum breaker due to confusion of delivery scope). System is now installed (Charlotte, NC) and works fine, produced about 50-70% of all hot water needed during december 2006. During spring and summer I expect to see almost 100% utilization. I selected open system with recirculation freeze protection and it has been tested at temperatures 14F without problems. Of couse recirculation decreases total efficiency by cooling storage tank temperature during chilly nights (below 40F), but compared to prize difference to closed and drain back systems, lifetime cycle cost is less (in NC). System is easy to drain and fill again, if needed. I do not have any experience of other supplier, but based on this experience I would recommend AET.
