I bought this charger to use as a backup GPU (ground power unit) for my small airplane. So far it works flawlessly, not only charging my airplane battery, but also providing clean power to the avionics, allowing do maintenance work on my glass cockpit (like database updates, etc) without draining the airplane battery. Along with the aircraft plug and heavy gauge wires, it costs less than 40 percent of any other aircraft charger/power supply available. It is light enough to carry on the plane. Highly recommended.
