Excellent color, slow turn-on
This bulb has a great tungsten color and is about exactly the same brightness as a standard incandescent 60W bulb. It does take about 2 seconds to first turn on, and then another 90 seconds to reach maximum brightness. Fortunately, it doesnt normally draw a full 15W. I measured just over 13W with batteries at about 12.4V. While the batteries were charging at 14V, the bulb did draw a full 15W.
