Helps to keep track of your turbine's real-time output. When the wind kicks up enough to send the turbine into generation, I find either I or my wife will run to the gauge to see how much power we're making. My wife saw it go off scale once during a particularly strong gust, so that's over 400W of generation!

Good value for the price. We use it to keep track of the PV amperage going into our SunSaver MPPT controller (even though that unit logs the information anyway!).

NOT weatherproof. Make sure you put it in a weatherproof enclosure or otherwise protect it from the elements. Can be made weatherproof with a little silicone around the outside face plate. Highly recommend!

Install it correctly, throw the switch and you do not have to worry about the turbine starting up when you are working on it. Kinda small, but saves space in your enclosure.

Great choice to track amperage from small wind turbines, real time output can be tracked as the wind blows. Terminals are realtively small for wire attachment.
