Exeter, NH – December 20, 2010– One of the largest solar electric arrays installed in New Hampshire went live in September, 2010. Measuring in at 100 kilowatts this system has been supplementing energy used by Exeter High School using solar electric modules, an inverter and system design support supplied by the wholesale solar panel provider, altE Direct, to the creators and installers of this project, Revolution Energy.

It is estimated that the giant solar array made up of 465 solar panels will offset about 5 percent of the Exeter High School’s energy needs and along with other technologies and upgrades will eventually save the school more than $200,000 per year.
Not only has Revolution Energy developed a solar electric system that will save the school money and energy, they also plan to work with the school to develop a curriculum that will educate students on the solar electric technology using the newly completed system.
