Very Satisfied by Toni & Greg Bodin

Modified the hanging lamp over the computer desk from 110AC to 12 volt. This lamp exceeds the AC incandescent. Costs a little more, but has already paid for itself. Plan on modifying many more lights in my house. The light from the "warm" bulb illuminates = to an incandescent cause I hate that blue "cool" color. We are very pleased

Camp Lights by Carl Brown

We recently installed three CL1215W lamps to supplement/replace three propane powered gas lights in a remote camp. They are quite a bit brighter than the gas lights, which surprised us, and they don't drop half-incinerated moths onto the table. They started easily at about 20°F when we arrived for the first overnight stay since installing them. The color is excellent and warm, you wouldn't know it was coming from a fluorescent.

The color is good and about the same light from a 60 watt bulb. Definitely satisfied. Technology is moving forward in leaps and bounds. Also, be on the look out for magnetic technology in the near future, very promising!

We have a vacation cabin miles from the nearest power pole. For years we've been using 6 coleman pumpstyle lanterns to light our main dining area. about 5-600 sq feet. 2 Phocos CL1215W 12V, 15 W Warm and 2 Phocos CL1211W 12V, 11 W Warm bulbs have eliminated the the hazard and hassle of the old Coleman lamps. Havent had them that long, but if they last a year Ill be tickled to death.

Excellent color, slow turn-on by Michael Kleinigger

This bulb has a great tungsten color and is about exactly the same brightness as a standard incandescent 60W bulb. It does take about 2 seconds to first turn on, and then another 90 seconds to reach maximum brightness. Fortunately, it doesnt normally draw a full 15W. I measured just over 13W with batteries at about 12.4V. While the batteries were charging at 14V, the bulb did draw a full 15W.
