Bomb Proof
Ive owned and operated this unit for well over a year now. Each and every day and its something I dont need to give a second thought to. It is highly reliable and all its functions operate as stated. (Its shown it will protect the system from over current and low voltage as well.)
If youre going for a 48 Volt system, I would highly recomend this unit. I am using it with (4) 92 Amp Hour 12 Volt, AGM Sealed Solar batteries, wired in series for 48 Volts. This powers a Cotek Pure Sine Wave 48 volt, 1500 Watt inverter. The 48 Volt input is from (4) 12 Volt Mitsubishi 110 Watt panels also wired in series.
Morningstar got this one down pat!
