I originally bought this to power a 12v muffin fan, to push air from a warmer room with a southern view into a cooler room. It seems like it will run the little .30A fan forever at top speed and does the job. I sometimes use it to power a desk lamp with a 10w CF bulb. Through an inverter, the lamp will run ~ 3 hrs. until reaching ~50% DOD. I like to recharge this from my small panels when the charge controller quits charging my regular 12 v batteries, and there is still enough sun to keep charging. The battery does everything you could reasonably expect from a 7.2ah battery, and arrived here in MA quickly. The small size is an advantage when experimenting with new uses.

Battery measured 12.78v when it arrived and it charged quickly off of the 12W panel and charge controller I purchased with it. So far it seems to be holding its charge without a problem. While it works fine, be aware that this is a small battery and is mostly suitable for experimentation or very light loads.
